Hi there,
My name is Katherine Watson and I am the New Entrant teacher at Arahoe School. I am so excited to be teaching new entrants this year and to be welcoming them into our school.
A little bit about me... I'm 23 years old, have been teaching Year 1s at Arahoe School for two years now and thoroughly enjoy teaching young children, especially 5 year olds! I grew up in Point Chevalier, Auckland with my parents and two other sisters who are both nurses... Could not be one of those! I did Ballet for 14 years and miss it every day as it was a great part of childhood!
When I'm not teaching my Year 1s at school I run the Senior Jump Jam leadership group and coach a year 5/6 Netball team during the winter season.
I am very dedicated towards ensuring your child has the best possible introduction into Arahoe School and will try my absolute best to support and care for them while they are in my class.
