FRIDAY MATARKI CLARIFICATION

Good afternoon parents!!

This Friday is our Matariki Parade. Children need to come to school in their uniform and have an item of clothing or accessory of their Matariki star colour put in their school bag. They will only be wearing this for the parade! Hope this clears things up.

Any more questions regarding this day please feel free to email me katherinew@arahoe.school.nz or see me in the morning or afternoon.

Regards,
Katherine

House Day

Dear parents and caregivers,

We are encouraging students to wear an item of clothing in their House colour for House Day activities e.g. hat, t-shirt. Teachers will paint faces of students that do not have an item at home in their house colours.

Students need to arrive at school in full uniform and will leave school at the end of the day in full uniform. Please keep in mind that it will be an active day so students will need to dress accordingly.

Kind regards
Ara Teina teachers.

This week is Anti-Bullying Week. Arahoe is promoting this by participating in Pink Shirt Day tomorrow, Friday 20th May.

This is not a Mufti Day - so there is NO $2 donation.

Children can wear pink clothing such as, tops, shirts, jumpers, pants, dresses and skirts - as long as they are mainly PINK

If your child does not have pink clothing, they can wear their school uniform.

Speak Up. Stand Together. Stop Bullying.
